How to get to Rome

Rome has two airports: Fiumicino (Leonardo da Vinci), about 30–40 minutes from the centre, and Ciampino, around 30 minutes. Fast trains reach Roma Termini from across Italy. The historic centre is best explored on foot, with taxis and metro for longer hops. We arrange discreet transfers so your partner never handles the logistics.

Permits, rooftops & timing

Rooftop terraces and restaurant tables book out fast in spring, summer and around holidays, and iconic squares are best at dawn. We handle reservations, any access permissions and coordination so everything runs to the minute. Three Rome-specific rules to know: sitting on the Spanish Steps is banned (fines apply — propose standing, or on the terrace above); the Trevi Fountain now has timed, ticketed access during daytime hours, which is why we plan it at dawn or after the queues close; and Vatican-area churches require covered shoulders and knees — plan the outfit for the photos accordingly. Bringing the ring & travelling
